10 days to go!!!

The clock is ticking down, and excitement levels are rising! Welcome to my first entry on this holiday blog on what promises to be a very memorable time. I'm travelling with Carnival Cruises on the good ship Carnival Valor, a 13-deck, 2974 passenger colossus! The ship is somewhat understatingly described as "large". They're not wrong there! Anyway, here's a picture of it:-

Two things I've checked out about the ship:-

1) There is a casino. Whoo-hoo! Stand by to lose a shed-load of dollars. I mean win of course!

2) There is an internet cafe on board so I will be able to blog whilst at sea. With internet rates at $0.75 a minute, don't be expecting any in depth essays. Just the facts Ma'am. And maybe a few photies too! x

    I think we will feel like we are on the cruise with you!
    Do what we do with our blog... if you have a laptop bring it with you, write it offline and then stick it on a memory stick then just go on line to post it!
