Snappy Part two

...and I'm back in the room! There was only me & Ms D booked for the Everglades part of the tour, so the company laid on a car with a driver just for us! The driver was initially from Bosnia but moved to Michigan then Miami. He was talking World Cup, but I wanted to talk Eurovision!

We boarded the airboat thingy and skimmed the Everglade swamps looking for crocs. I think we had the guide with the most twisted sense of humour. "Come on crocs, come and eat....I mean meet your guests" was a typical line from him! When we reached dry land we had a "show" with another guide wrestling with a croc and waving his hand across his mouth (that's the croc's mouth not his mouth!!) It was a fascinating talk, but the guide totally distracted me because he sounded just like the American comedian Emo Phillips!

Apparently it's unusually hot in Miami right now. Talk about bad timing! 32 degrees and 85% humidity! Ow! Don't expect me to return tanned. I'm doing an excellent job finding the shady areas!

Early start tomorrow - tour of Key West begins at 7am! And now it's photo time! Don't get excited - most of them are on my camera. However, I put this gem on my iPhone - a bit of blatant advertising! x
